Writer’s blog shares show secrets

Bloggers LogoThe Brothers & Sisters writers are starting to do what the Grey’s Anatomy writers have been doing for quite a while: Produce cutesy blog posts about episodes that are one part self-deprecating blather about how hard it is to write a blog, one part tidbits about the inside workings of a television show, and one part insight into the story in question. The first entry in this style deals with “Something Ida This Way Comes,” and if you read both parts of the double post, you will learn what a “bottle episode” is, what color script pages come in, and that Calista Flockhart was written out of two scenes due to illness. Can chatty podcasts be far behind?
