Tonight’s re-run: “An Act of Will”

And an act of willfulness by that wily ABC. For quite some time, they’ve threatened that the next re-run wouldn’t be on until June 24, and would be Episode 7, “Northern Exposure.” So I merrily recapped Episode 2, “An Act of Will,” this past week for my Summer Recap Project, only to — whoops! surprise! — have it pop up on the re-run schedule for tonight. ‘Cause, you know, what better Father’s Day programming could you want than a dad screwing his family over from the grave? Heartwarming!

ABC’s press release still indicates the twice-shown “Northern Exposure” as next weekend’s offering, so I’m going to take a chance and do Episode 3, “Affairs of State,” this week. You remember, it’s the one with the pool party and the mango peach salsa and Nora’s outing of Holly. Relive a little of those good times with the YouTube clip below, and come back tomorrow for more.
