Ten things I would NOT like to see

This past week’s posts have looked at what I’d like to see in the coming season-plus-a-few of Brothers & Sisters. Now, with the post-strike return only a day away, I’ll conclude all this check-upping and plot contriving on a cautionary note, with ten things I would not like to see. Some of these seem a little worrisome just now, but I have faith.
1. Any change of parentage for the Walkers as we know them. Too much work to erase a season-and-a-half of story from our brains.
2. A McCallister for Vice President campaign. Give it up. We know they’re not going to Washington.
3. More military service or drug problems for Justin. Been there, done that, come back twice.
4. The return of bitter, angry, workaholic Sarah. Karaoke Sarah’s more fun.
5. Inter-sibling dating. And siblings sharing a girlfriend.
6. Robert’s nanny coming back and suing him for sexual harassment. This isn’t Law & Order. No ripping from the headlines, even if Rob Lowe’s current scandal sounds like it could have been orchestrated by Courtney McCallister.
7. Saul continuing to balance at the entrance of the closet. Come on out if you’re going to!
8. Divorce, infidelity, or romantic dithering by committed couples. Give them a year, is all I’m sayin’.
9. Lena. Ever, ever again.
10. Another strike. Creative folk, have mercy!
What do you most fear seeing when the show returns tomorrow? Share your personal taboo list in the comments. And check out the preview scene in the widget in the right margin below, with perhaps a record-setting extended phone chain of siblings proclaiming, “Mom would never leave us! Right? Right?” So we know what they don’t want to see.

Seems to me you sommed it all up.
Although I’d personally put your no 8 on the first place. By now, almost everyone has cheated on someone. We got it. Bad thing. Stop it.
And NO campaigning anymore.
But personally, I’d love to see the nanny re-surface and tell a different story then Robert. Not perhaps cheating, but that she left because things were becoming too personal and too close. Just enough to put a little unease in Kitty. I don’t want them to break up, but just… something that will make Robert a little less perfect. He didn’t lie, (he did not have an affair with her), but didn’t exactly tell the full truth either. But no sexual harasment case or something public.

Amen to all of the above, plus no more “borrowing” storylines from Queer as Folk (US), a show notorious for the unevenness of its writing. (The cast is a different story: 99% of the US and UK casts would be welcome guest stars in my ideal BAS universe. Hal can stay on Nick.) We’ve already had bad karaoke as a way to say “ILY” and “jump hot guy’s bones; then learn he’s a priest.” (Plus, actor playing priest on QAF could be mistaken for Eric Winter’s father - ick.)
And no more bad singing by Matthew: why waste a good voice? I never understood why he needed to sing badly for the scene to work, as stated in “Writer’s Room 212.” I’d love to hear a Rachel-Matthew duet:”Waterloo.”

I find most of the upcoming storylines quite promising (and there are a few I think I’ll love outright).
My only concern is that Rebecca STAYS a Walker. That’s non-negotiable, as far as I’m concerned, if they want to keep the series’ integrity intact.

I agree with the above list.
I’m almost certain that Rebecca remains a Walker.
I hope we see less of Robert and more of the others.
