Meanwhile, back at the ranch

Northern Exposure

We saw it first on November 5. We saw it again on February 4. But since you can never get enough of naked people falling out of treehouses and brothers arguing about sperm, we’re seeing it again tonight: “Northern Exposure,” that is, the episode in which everybody begs off a last family outing to the house in Ojai, but then sneaks back for a private weekend fling, only to find every brother and sister and mother doing the same. It’s a cute enough episode, but … three times, ABC? You can’t re-show the whole series in order, but you can show this one again and again?
