Retcon Patrol 1-18: “Three Parties” Part 1

Today continues our summer-long journey through the first season of Brothers & Sisters, from our perspective here at the end of Season Two. As with our re-view of Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17, I’ll be looking for contradictions between where the Walkers were then and where they’re at now, and also commenting on how the episodes look in retrospect. I’ll time my observations to the playback of the DVD, for those who want to view along. Share your own reflections in the comments.

Back in Nora’s writing class, although this time they have desks in rows and not a long table. Which means that the reader can, mercifully, only see a few bored and hostile faces at a time.

Emily says that the professor’s book has “a lot of wine and cheese.” The wine part, anyway, makes him perfect for the Walkers. I think he’s a little cheesy, though.

Rebecca says her best girlfriend is Romy. Have we ever heard of her again? Where does Lena come in in the hierarchy of bestness?

Maybe Rebecca should study architecture. First she wanted to go to the Walkers to check out the “palatial” house, now she’s eager to go to a party because it’s in a “kick-ass” beach house.
