Retcon Patrol 1-15: “Love Is Difficult” Part 4

Today we continue our search for inconsistent or comment-worthy moments in the Brothers & Sisters first season with a look at the fourth part of Episode 15. Read Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 if you need to catch up, then dive right in here with Part 4.

Back in therapy hell with Sarah and Joe. I know they need to be here, but do we have to be? Couldn’t we just go out for coffee and pick them up when they’re done?

From the way Joe’s talking, it doesn’t sound like Sarah’s the one who’s angry.

Perhaps it would make Joe and Sarah feel better if they could just beat up the therapist. Get a little passion going.

So Tommy says that while he knew there was a woman at the ranch in the flashback, he didn’t know it was Holly. Just when I was gonna accuse him of lying to Justin way back in episode one that Holly was nobody to be concerned about. Seems unlikely he wouldn’t have guessed, though.

I know there are some of you out there for whom the courtship of Kitty and Robert is like nails on a blackboard, sort of the way I feel about Kevin and Chad. But me, I think they’re adorable. I’m really enjoying watching their scenes again.

Poor Sarah. Everybody’s dumping on her. First Joe. Now Tommy. This would be a good time for a road trip.

Sarah promises Tommy that, although he’s going into business with her mortal enemy, she’ll watch his back and drink his wine. Hard to imagine a more appropriate product choice for the Walkers, really.
