Retcon Patrol 1-15: “Love Is Difficult” Part 1

Today continues our summer-long journey through the first season of Brothers & Sisters, from our perspective here at the end of Season Two. As with our re-view of Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14, I’ll be looking for contradictions between where the Walkers were then and where they’re at now, and also commenting on how the episodes look in retrospect. This show really likes opening the teaser on a sex scene. This is the third in the last ten episodes, after Tommy and Julia trying to conceive and Justin and Tyler playing lick-word. Add in Tommy and Julia in the shower and Kitty waking up next to Robert, and that’s five out of ten sex-related openers. What is this, Gossip Girl?

When you’re trying to make peace with your little brother, who you leapfrogged to the top of the company power structure, rubbing his nose in how much experience you have and why you were brought in is probably not the best way to go about it. Better than calling him snot-face, but not by a lot.
