Retcon Patrol 1-12: “Sexual Politics” Part 2
Today we continue our look for inconsistent or comment-worthy moments in the Brothers & Sisters first season with a look at the second part of Episode 12. Read yesterday’s post for the first nine minutes or so, then hop right in here.
9:55
So after relentlessly teasing Kitty about her lack of cooking skills, Nora is now trying to interest her in going on a cooking tour?
10:03
I don’t know that it says a lot for this executive matchmaker that she has to fax things to prospective clients. I’d think a .pdf file in a discreetly titled e-mail would be more like it.
10:08
Nora says Kitty has a “tell” when she’s lying, a funny thing she does with her eyebrow. Gonna have to watch for that now.
10:27
Kitty says she’s not looking for a quick and expedient way to find a husband. Yet going to work for the senator proved to be just that.
10:47
Nora tags Robert as Kitty’s type. Which he so resoundingly is.
12:14
Kevin has a very cute goofy smile on when he hears Chad has a pug named Lola, and he then presumably knows for sure that Chad’s gay. Oh, if only you knew how unpromising this relationship would be, Kev, it would wipe the smile off your face.
13:28
I think Joe is enjoying the idea of Sarah being jealous over guitar mom just a little too much. Jerk.
14:07
Nora says she’ll be quiet as a mouse during Kitty’s matchmaker interview. Has she ever in her life been quiet as a mouse?
15:28
It serves Nora right that she gets sucked into getting matched up with someone, too. Except … why would the matchmaker assume that Kitty’s mom is single? Didn’t seem to be any mention of her being a widow, unless it was on Kitty’s application.
15:56
When the matchmaker says she loves mother-daughter teams because it’s twice as much fun, I don’t think she knows enough about this mother-daughter team.
16:02
Kitty, of her mother: “She … loves … contractors!” Ha! Score one, finally, for Kitty.
