New game-playing fun (?) tonight

Tonight’s brand-new episode of Brothers & Sisters looks … fairly excruciating, actually, judging from the preview on the ABC.com site. This is the one featuring Jenna Elfman and Susan Sullivan as rival family members coming to the Walker home for game night. Game night? Really? The Jones family has uniforms and the Walker family has a cheer and I’m totally with Tommy and Kevin with the eye-rolling and the refusals and the “What are we, 12?”

Appreciate newness while we have it, though, because next week’s a re-run. The encore episode is “Sexual Politics,” which means, if you’ve been celebrating the departure of Jason Lewis’s Chad, you’re going to have to watch that ill-fated relationship start all over again.
