New episode tonight, and trouble ahead

Logo 1Tonight’s episode, entitled “Love Is Difficult,” was co-written by show creator Jon Robin Baitz and Molly Newman, and according to Baitz’s TV Guide blog, it draws much from his own life: “I find myself deeply embedded in various places in Sunday’s episode, drawing from my own biography and my own current state of being, politically, romantically and emotionally. As the creator of a show, you want to be able locate yourself in the heart of the thing, and this episode, ‘Love is Difficult,’ is a good example of how that works.” Read the blog for a rundown of those biographical details, and good advice like this: “But I’ll tell you one thing; if I have kids, I will so not let them become writers. Because writers invade your privacy and then tell you they love you.”
