How much do you care about actors’ hair?
There’s a surprisingly lengthy discussion on the IMDB Message Boards for Brothers & Sisters about the badness of the hairpieces worn by the men on the show, which tells us that a) viewers are getting wise to the ways of Hollywood, and b) some people have too much time on their hands if they’re watching shows they hate just to dis the hair. Warren (left) is tagged as the worst toupee offender, but all the fellows’ follicles are suspect, with much discussion over whether Matthew Rhys’s naturally thick and curly locks are being accurately represented. Some posters defend the heads portraying Joe, Tommy, Justin, Jonathan and Saul, while others seem to feel that anyone who doesn’t believe that every male in the cast — and indeed, every male in Hollywood — is wearing a rug is a sap. But what about those Walker women? Are we really supposed to buy that all those long locks are growing directly from the scalps of the actresses? Holly’s hair, in particular, has always looked to me like it sleeps on Styrofoam. Whose hair do you have doubts about?
