Have you seen these people around anywhere?

Sometimes it seems like Brothers & Sisters doesn’t get the same kind of attention that other shows revel in. It’s hard to pick up a magazine without seeing a Grey’s Anatomy or Lost or Heroes or Desperate Housewives cast member featured or gossiped about or talking up the show. Brothers & Sisters is to the media as Julia is to the show — pretty, personable, but usually lurking somewhere in the background, and often missing altogether.
I try to keep an eye out for B&S mentions, through Google Alerts and blog readers and the magazines that fill my mailbox, but I’m just one tired reader. If you’ve seen a B&S cast member or plot line written up somewhere, anywhere, mention it in the comments and I’ll grab it out and put it in a blog post, with your name attached.
For starters, here’s a batch of sightings rounded up by Terry (with a y) in a comment on a recent post on Rob Lowe:
“Balthazar Getty was featured on E! Thursday night. Short interview and they were really informing about his photo shoot for the upcoming October issue of Men’s Health. Apparently he was a model earlier in his career.
“Calista Flockart is on the cover of Elle - the UK edition. That one I bought but was disappointed as no mention of my guy in the article. Some small photos of the Senator and Kitty as well as other cast members - and just her of course. In the article they did seem to emphasize how her and Rachel Griffiths have become close. Similiar circumstances being working moms.
“I’ve been concerned about the lack of promotion for the new season for B&S. They did finally show up in the weekly tabloid mags. 3 of them I counted had a full page promo for B&S. Photos of all the characters individually except RL and CF were together. And the line ‘Family is Everything.’”
And a few things I’ve been reading around:
- Maxwell Perry Cotton, who plays Sarah’s hyper son Cooper, will appear as Dennis the Menace to Robert Wagner’s Mr. Wilson in the direct-to-video A Dennis the Menace Christmas.
- An interview with Patricia Wettig reveals that Holly is going to “wield a little power” this season (yikes), but the actress claims that she has no special power on the set, despite the fact that she’s married to the executive producer and is the mother of one of the writers. Um-hmmm.
- Rachel Griffiths is appearing in the first of 25 PSAs in a public education campaign by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) called “Be an Ally & a Friend.” Also in that first spot are John Amaechi, T.R. Knight, Marlee Matlin, Martina Navratilova and Jerry O’Connell.
What have you been seeing around, in print, online, on TV? Do share.

Are we continuing the Matthew Rhys-less theme with that first shot?
I pre-ordered my first season DVD yesterday! It was a bit of a splurge with shipping (I live in Australia) but oh well.
