“Family Day” recap, memorable lines, and questions

Since Family Day had its first showing fairly recently, you don’t have to wait for a recap here the day after the re-run. The following are already written and available for your recalling enjoyment:

Looking ahead, here’s what Entertainment Weekly has to say about next week’s non-re-run new episode, “All in the Family,” in its Sunday listings: “Nora Walker’s (Sally Field) bravery keeps her sprawling family together, just as Field’s strength as an actress keeps this drama from drowning in soapy complications. Tonight, bold and frazzled Nora finally invites her late husband’s illegitimate daughter, Rebecca (Emily VanCamp), to dinner with the family. The kid gets the full Walker treatment, but Nora shows her respect, finding emotions that only Field could do justice. Turns out, it’s good to have a two-time Oscar winner on hand.”
