Another celebrity guest star?
Seems like hardly a day goes by anymore when some fancy guest-starring gig isn’t announced for Brothers & Sisters. The show’s starting to look like The Love Boat, with stars stopping by for a little romance and a paycheck. Is it a good thing, because it raises the profile of the show? A questionable thing, because it diverts screen-time and resources from secondary cast members who can’t compete with the big names? A bad thing, because stunt-casting takes us out of the Walker world?
I’ll admit, I was happy about Steven Weber coming aboard for Sarah, and Danny Glover for Nora, but … now Chevy Chase as Nora’s old high-school sweetheart? Really? Maybe he’ll be great, I shouldn’t prejudge, but … seriously? Hmm.
According to TV Guide.com, Chase will be aboard for multiple episodes as Stan Hirsh. Now if he was Saul’s old high-school sweetheart, that would be something worth looking out for.
