A quickie wedding for Robert and Kitty?

Robert and KittyI’ve been dreading the possibility of a protracted wedding work-up for Robert and Kitty — a few mini-break-ups and -make-ups, a serious challenge somewhere along the way, moodiness and broodiness and misunderstandings. Nobody just gets married on TV, right? There have to be obstacles.

In this case, though, maybe they’re saving the obstacles for after. TVGuide.com’s latest Ausiello Report vodcast reports that the McCallister-Walker nuptials will take place next month, not next year or next season.

Also scooped: Robert will treat Kitty to a private Hollywood Bowl concert featuring Lyle Lovett. Ooh, can he be some sort of long-lost McCallister kin, and come to all the Walker parties?

One more bit of B&S gossip, this one from Ask Ausiello: “There’s a big intervention coming up — and it shouldn’t be too tough to figure out who the headliner is. Also, look for Kitty to suffer a personal tragedy.”

What, she didn’t get the Reagan bobble-head? She’s forced to wear the puffy-sleeved wedding dress after all? What? What?
